One Port City Day
Halifax Port Authority to host second annual One Port City Day
June 8, 2023, Halifax, Nova Scotia – Come get to know us better during our second annual One Port City Day at the Halifax Seaport. This community event takes place Saturday, June 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
One Port City Day is a free community event that celebrates the larger port industry and the valued partnerships that unite us as One Port City. The event features vessel displays and exhibits from port partners, a family fun zone, mini train rides on CN’s Little Obie, a career and information fair, on-board tours of HMCS Kingston, live music, and bus tours of PSA Halifax Atlantic Hub terminal.
Everyone is invited to join in the festivities and learn more about the different career pathways and opportunities within the port community. The PIER (Port Innovation, Engagement and Research) will open its doors for interactive exhibits from community members including the Africville Heritage Trust, Todd Labrador and his 16-foot birchbark canoe, the Discovery Centre, and others.
